The conversion used Dark Eldar Scourge legs with all the spikes and blades cut off, Eldar Guardian torsos, arms & heads, Wraothblade Hip Plates on the shoulders, Wraithblade Loin Cloths and Guardian Aerials for the Warp Jump Generator, and finally the front of a Shuriken Catapult replaced with the end of a Wraith Cannon.

Legs:I took Scourge model, I shaved off any pointy/spiky bits. Shaped the open feet models, to look more like boots than feet. Torso: Eldar Guardian Torso's. The shoulder pads are such an Eldar thing, and I actually liked the jetpack looking part of Eldar and thought they would make a lot of sense on something that is flying around.

Thank you very much. I will keep all of this in mind. I have been looking into doing conversions for the Grotesques. And i though I do like the variety of uses of blasters, I plan to have a lot of blasters in with my Kabalites and Trueborn. So I figured I would specialize the Scourge for specifically tankhunting.

The conversion was based heavily on the latest two plastic Dark elf characters, the Black Ark Fleetmaster and the assassin Shadowblade. The Duke's body comes from Shadowblade, while his head and cape come from the Fleetmaster. Both of the Duke's weapons (a Blast pistol and the Serpent's Bite) were converted from a collection if Dark elf.

To make this bad boy he used a standard Dark Eldar Warrior model, added some Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard Wings, a Phantasm Launcher, and finished it off with a Swooping Hawk head. All this for the low price of $90 retail for the squad! I probably shouldn't talk- I think my Stormraven conversion was well over $200 retail.

One of the perks of playing dark eldar is that the average 40k player does not know the names of most of our weapons or what they look like.. Each Scourge should have a different weapon on the model, all counting as 4 of the same thing.
